All day writing, writing and writing. I send off a couple of articles to HQ and then in the evening, back into London through the pouring rain again for a Chateau La Dauphine and Chateau Marquis de Terme tasting/dinner at Texture restaurant. All this rain…I feel like I am living in David Fincher’s “Se7en”, albeit without the gruesome murders (I still have to watch most of that film from behind a safety cushion.)
Anyhoo, Marquis de Terme & Dauphine are two properties that I am less familiar with, hence my reason for attending. During the evening, I lock horns with Ludovic David from Marquis de Terme, about the virtues of traditional vs. modern winemaking, alcohol levels and so forth. I guess I am just warming up for en primeur next month…
